I worked at The Island Gallery in central Bristol, on the Bristol Gallery Weekend 2025, as an assistant curator intern - my first curating role. The Island exhibition was a studio artist show of varied disciplines and styles, from painting, illustration, textiles, film, and sound. I organised an artist call out; liaised with 22 participating studio artists; collecting artworks; and working with The Island team to curate the artists work.
